Introduction
This document gives you a quick overview of the Pricing API, answers common questions, and points you to other resources where you can learn more.

What is the Pricing API?
The DataUnison Pricing API makes it easy to get historic pricing information on eBay. It has been optimized to make it:
  • Easy to retrieve historical eBay pricing data
  • Fast and flexible
  • Simple to authenticate (no token required)
  • Easy to embed in a web page or app
Make a call
The DataUnison Pricing API makes it so easy to make a call that you can start retrieving data from eBay in 2 steps!
  • Sign up and get an AppID. [How do I get an AppID?]
  • Click the button to search for an the price of an iPod mp3 player on eBay. (You will have to substitute your AppID in to the url)

What statistics are returned by the Pricing API?
The DataUnison Pricing API returns the following statistics in each call:
  • Total revenue
  • Number of items sold
  • Average, minimum, and maximum sale price
As well, you can optionally chose to return the same statistics for each day of the search, allowing the values to be trended over time.
